Parañaque Rep. Roilo Golez yesterday slammed Metro Manila Development Authority chairman Bayani Fernando for allegeldy using Metro Gwapo project to advance political career.
He said he is not buying Fernando's claim that many residents have shown discipline because of his projects.
"Bayani is hallucinating. Instead of Metro gwapo, Bayani made the Metropolis baduy with his ugly, incongruos pink road signs, fence, footbridges and urinals that violate international standards,"Golez said.
Earlier, Fernando said that he will embark on new projects that will serve as the finishing touches on his Metro Gwapo project.
However, Golez said the metropolis is pockmarked with ugly and hazardous experiments like the killer u-turns, including the loading bay on Guadalupe bridge.
"He should start with himself because he has violated good manners and right conduct by his disrespectful way of talking in media and Congress, arrogance, violation of human rights and shamelessness and lack of delicadeza" Golez said.
He even slammed the MMDA chief's Large tarpaulins along the streth of EDSA and other major thoroughfares. Golez said the truth is pink is Fernando's political color.
"I fully support the resolution of my colleagues to investigate him. Their resolution likewise supports my earlier resolution on that matter," Golez said adding:
"I am hoping hewill be the lakas standard bearer so he can see for himself in actual votes how unpopular he is, although his selection by Lakas is most unlikely because of his insignificant near zero ratings."
